5 MW Hydro Project in Himachal Pradesh

The project consists of 5 MW small hydropower plant located at Belij, Chamba district, Himachal Pradesh, India and is being developed by Belij Hydro Power Private Limited. The project activity involves generation of electricity by using the available hydro potential in the tributaries of the Ravi River and exporting the generated electricity to the Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board.

Belij project is a run of the river scheme on Belij Nallah, which is a tributary of river Ravi. Belij Nallah joins river Ravi on right bank just downstream of Hibra village, Chamba district, Himachal Pradesh. The project generates an estimated 23.445 GWh of electricity annually generation is 23.445 GWh.
