01 The challenge
A planting only works for the climate if the plants survive and stay. The project had to give families a clear reason to keep the bamboo growing for 30 years.

02 The approach
The project groups 4,500 hectares under one design, with bamboo planted on 834 hectares. A total of 462 families receive 70% of the revenue, so they have a stake in the result.
03 Delivery
At monitoring, 90% of the plants had survived. Planting and upkeep gave 1,397 workdays to 110 workers, and the project issued 205,146 tCO2e.
